How can we help you?
Any time you’re considering dental treatment, you should have all the information you need to feel confident about your decision. One of our priorities is keeping you informed and educated about treatments that will help maintain your oral health today, tomorrow, and far into the future.
When it comes to questions, we have an open door policy and encourage you to contact us with your concerns. You’re always welcome to call our Plainfield dental office to arrange a consultation; if it’s more convenient, feel free to use our handy online form and we’ll get you an answer as soon as possible.
To get you started, here are a few of the questions we hear most often:
Tooth-Colored Fillings
We recommend that your child come in for their first visit as soon as they begin teething but no later than age one. The sooner we start seeing your child, the better the odds for helping them enjoy a lifetime of happy, healthy smiles.
Our ultimate goal is to help your develop healthy dental habits. But the first few visits are meant to help your child get used to our team and the new surroundings. At this point we’re mainly concerned with helping your child feel completely safe and secure with us.
We really enjoy working with kids, and we’ll take things nice and slow. We’ll introduce your child gradually to all the new sights and sounds of a dental office. Your child will learn that visits to the dentist can be fun – we’ll even count their teeth and let them take a ride in our dental chair.
It’s understandable that you may feel a little overwhelmed about your child's first visit. You can rest easy knowing that our team always makes it a point to treat children with friendly care and respect for their unique needs. Once we know your child is completely comfortable with us, we can start to perform any necessary treatments like exams and cleanings.
We would love to help start your child off with a positive feeling about their dental care. Please contact our Plainfied dental office to arrange their exciting first visit!
