We are a Cigna provider and a Premier Provider for Delta Dental, and we will also be happy to file all insurance claims. If you’re like most people, understanding the ins and outs of dental insurance can be a challenge.

Our team is here to make it as easy as possible for you to get the most out of your coverage. You are always welcome to contact our office, and a knowledgeable member of our team will be happy to answer your specific insurance questions.

There is nothing like getting all the information you need before making decisions about your dental care. We invite you to give us a call and come in for a no-pressure, no-commitment consultation with Dr. Skinkys. He wants to understand your goals so that he can talk to you about all your options and choose the one best suited for your specific case.

Yes – we believe that you can never be too informed about a certain procedure. There’s a lot to consider, and decisions about major dental treatment should never be taken lightly. Please contact our office, and we’ll be happy to arrange a commitment-free consultation and make appropriate recommendations for treatment.

We don’t want you to compromise your oral health just because you don’t have dental insurance. Our in-house dental membership plan was designed just for patients like you.

You simply pay an annual fee, and you and your family will receive exams, x-rays, and cleanings for one year. The plan also provides for a reduction on services completed at our office. Please contact us for more information.

Crowns & Bridges

If you have a serious dental problem, or even if you’re not sure it’s serious, please feel free to contact us. In most cases, we can get you in to see us the same day so we can evaluate your needs.

But dental emergencies don’t always occur during office hours. That’s why you can contact us whenever you have an emergency – even if it’s after regular hours!

Sedation Dentistry

Dental anxiety is a common problem shared by millions of people and can occur for a number of reasons. Dr. Skinkys and our team are sensitive to your concerns and have helped many patients overcome their dental phobias. You will find that our gentle, compassionate approach and genuine concern for your well-being make all the difference in helping you deal with your anxiety.

If fear is causing you to miss appointments or put off dental treatment altogether, we can help. Dr. Skinkys has taken the extra step of becoming certified by the state of Illinois to provide the type of sedation that is just right for you.

We have several options including oral conscious and IV sedation. Both are safe and effective and allow you to get important care without anxiety. Communication is the key, and we encourage you to be open with us and let us know if dental fear is a problem for you.

Please don’t put off dental visits because of anxiety. With our effective sedation techniques, you will finally be able to get the care you need in a friendly, stress-free setting. If you’d like more information about our gentle dentistry, please contact our Plainfield dental office.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic treatment available today, and there’s nothing like professional whitening to bring out the natural beauty of your smile!

We want you to be thrilled with the results, and whitening options at our Plainfield dental office are designed with your unique needs in mind. So our first step is to spend some time talking to you about the results you’re looking for, as well as your timeline and budget. For your convenience, we offer both in-office and take-home whitening. Both are very effective, and the one we choose is really a matter of personal preference.

If you’d like to have your teeth whitening completed in one appointment, in-office treatment will be a good choice for you. Using a highly concentrated, professional whitening gel, we can help you achieve beautiful results in under an hour. Or, you may prefer a bit more control over the pace and extent of your whitening. In this case, we will recommend one of our professional take-home kits.

You may be wondering why our kits are preferable to those you find in your drug store. First, as dental professionals, we can prescribe a highly concentrated whitening gel that is stronger than anything you can purchase over the counter. Also, your whitening tray is completely customized, which allows the gel to cover all surfaces of your teeth evenly for consistent results.

If you’d like more information about the beautiful results we can help you achieve with professional teeth whitening, please give us a call!

Tooth-Colored Fillings

We recommend that your child come in for their first visit as soon as they begin teething but no later than age one. The sooner we start seeing your child, the better the odds for helping them enjoy a lifetime of happy, healthy smiles.

Our ultimate goal is to help your develop healthy dental habits. But the first few visits are meant to help your child get used to our team and the new surroundings. At this point we’re mainly concerned with helping your child feel completely safe and secure with us.

We really enjoy working with kids, and we’ll take things nice and slow. We’ll introduce your child gradually to all the new sights and sounds of a dental office. Your child will learn that visits to the dentist can be fun – we’ll even count their teeth and let them take a ride in our dental chair.

It’s understandable that you may feel a little overwhelmed about your child's first visit. You can rest easy knowing that our team always makes it a point to treat children with friendly care and respect for their unique needs. Once we know your child is completely comfortable with us, we can start to perform any necessary treatments like exams and cleanings.

We would love to help start your child off with a positive feeling about their dental care. Please contact our Plainfied dental office to arrange their exciting first visit!
